Personality Plus is based on the teachings of Florence Littauer. Betsy Jabola was personally trained and mentored by Florence and, in 1994, completed all the requirements to become a Certified Personality Trainer. She has had the privilege of contributing stories and examples to the following published books: Personality Puzzle (Piecing Together the Personalities In Your Workplace), by Florence and Marita Littauer (1992); Talking So People Will Listen by Florence and Marita Littauer (1998); and Personailty Plus for Couples by Florence Littauer (2001).

Distinctive to all of Betsy’s presentations is her use of ventriloquism and her company of puppets that bring vivid examples of the personalities to life. In addition, she uses a lot of humor, personal stories, and visual aids making Personality Plus fun to listen to, easy to understand, and packed with lots of information that can be used immediately. You will not only be a listener, but an active participant discovering your own unique strengths, while reframing, and refocusing your perception of the people in your life.

Betsy Jabola is an engaging, entertaining, heartwarming and motivating speaker, certified personality trainer, storyteller and ventriloquist. Her passion in life is to motivate and influence others to discover their innate God-given strengths and live life to their fullest potential with purpose...being the very best they can be. Her enthusiasm to teach on the personalities comes from the profound impact it has had in her own life. Discovering who she was freed her from feeling like a prisoner of “perfection” and transformed her marriage relationship from one of friction to freedom. Whether dealing with a spouse, family member, friend, colleague or client, all relationships are strengthened and enhanced and communication is improved when you understand and allow them to be who they really are.

Professional Background
A Certified Personality Trainer since 1994 (see sidebar), Betsy has presented this powerful tool and provided training in such areas as: the healthcare and academic arenas; children, women, and family groups; and various business settings. She serves on CLASS’s West Coach teaching staff and is active in Toastmasters. As a ventriloquist and storyteller for over 28 years, she and her “friends” have been involved in children’s ministry in the church setting as well as chapels and assemblies for both private and public schools. She has been seen worldwide via satellite.

Personal
Before moving into speaking fulltime, Betsy worked as a Neonatal I.C.U. nurse at Loma Linda University Medical Center for over 10 years. She and her husband, Rodney are happily married and thriving (with the help of personality appreciation), and have one son, Andrew, a mechanical engineer pursuing a career in aeronautical engineering.
