Ann Elizabeth "Betsy" Jabola

Just who is Betsy Jabola?

She is a lady who works hard, does the work of more than one person, and speaks for many.

What does she do?

She's a ventriloquist with a passion for using her gift in sharing God's love.

What is her mission?

I want to bring out the best in others by being a mentor, communicator, and motivator by affirming, encouraging and challenging others to be all God made them to be.

What is her ministry theme?

SOLI DEO GLORIA: To the glory of God…only.

For over 27 years Betsy has been active in Children's Ministries. At her home church, the Loma Linda University Church, she is actively involved as part of the worship team for the main service, writing and performing the children's stories to complement the sermon for that day, using her gift of ventriloquism and her many puppet friends. She has also been active doing Children's Churches, Outreach Ministries, Sabbath Schools, Sunday Schools, and Weeks of Prayer. She loves children (actually, people of all ages) and feels a deep sense of urgency to tell them about God's great love and sacrifice for them, especially in the days we are living now.

Rod, Andrew & Betsy

Betsy graduated in 1977 from the Loma Linda University School of Nursing with her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. She worked for over 10 years in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Loma Linda University Medical Center. She is presently "retired" from nursing, but keeps her license active.

Betsy also has been teaching Personality Plus workshops for the past 12 years in a variety of settings; from nurses and medical personnel, women's teas and seminars, foster parenting groups, retirement meetings, to children in elementary school and older ones in Junior high and high school. She has a passion to help others discover their God-given personality and uniqueness.

Distinctive to all her presentations is her use of ventriloquism and her company of puppets that bring vivid examples of the personalities to life. Along with the puppets, she uses a lot of humor, personal stories, and visual aids making Personality Plus fun to listen to, easy to understand, and packed with lots of information that can be used immediately.

Betsy and her husband live in Loma Linda, California. They truly have a 9/11 marriage because their wedding anniversary is September 11, 1977. Rodney is a physician in the specialty of Radiation Oncology working with the Proton Beam at Loma Linda University Medical Center. Their son, Andrew, attends Walla Walla College taking engineering and aviation. Both Rod and Andrew are great supporters and encouragers to Betsy and her ministry.
